The Facts

Ground Floor:
A lounge area around the fireplace is like a little cabinet of curiosities with its frames, silver candle holders and glass bells. With sofas either side of a wooden coffee table, the lounge is the perfect place to chat, leaf through magazines or read books.  A door from the living room takes you into the separate modern fully equipped kitchen with a dining table. There are some beautiful items like the piano in the main living room. 

First Floor: All the rooms are located upstairs: Two rooms have two king-size single beds (1m x 2m) and Four rooms have a super-king-size double bed (2m x 2m). There is also a charming lounge with sofas, a television and bookshelves full of books and magazines.Two bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower and bath, as well as a separate toilet. The third bedroom has an adjoining private bathroom and toilet. The fourth bedroom has a private shower and a double basin. Finally, the fifth and sixth bedrooms share a fourth bathroom with a toilet.

Outside: The property features three distinct outdoor areas designed in a contemporary style. The first is a charming planted pergola nestled within the courtyard, surrounded by the old farm buildings with two tables, providing an ideal setting for enjoying meals outdoors. Alternatively, if you prefer a shaded spot with a view of the garden, the summer terrace of the farmhouse offers coffee tables and a sofa. Descending along the large stepping stones, you will discover the inviting blue waters of the expansive swimming pool, enveloped by lush vegetation. This pool area is designed for leisure and entertainment, promising unforgettable moments with loved ones. The generously sized covered terrace adjacent to the pool provides a breathtaking view and is fully equipped for relaxation, featuring tables, benches, lighting, a bar, and a barbecue. 6th Bathroom is located in the pool house. Sun loungers are strategically placed around the pool, allowing you to soak up the sun and achieve that perfect tan. Adjacent to the pool area, the nearby lawn is adorned with original pergolas that provide welcome shade.

Location: The property lies in a wonderfully quiet spot, just outside the village of Pernes-les-Fontaines yet is not isolated. You will also be just 10 minutes from Isle sur la Sorgue. Just minutes away from the centre of Pernes les Fontaines, take the time for a stroll through its pretty narrow streets, explore the 41 fountains that gave the town its name, and enjoy its charming shops and restaurants. From your villa at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the whole of Vaucluse awaits with an array of activities, walks and visits. Take the villages of Luberon and their charming narrow streets, for example. Gordes, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste are all ideal for a ramble. The hardest part will be choosing which to visit! You can also explore the natural environment or the region’s very rich historical and cultural heritage. Don’t miss the region’s finest antiques market on a Sunday morning in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, just minutes from Hortensia. You can also visit Avignon and its unique historical attractions, including the Palais des Papes and the Pont d’Avignon.
